Portugal is preparing to welcome another celebration of fashion as The House of Fashion, powered by Paris Runway Official, returns on October 24–25, 2026, with its most ambitious format yet. Produced by IMC Models Agency, the event will expand into a two-day experience, bringing together designers, models, photographers, media representatives and industry professionals for a weekend dedicated to fashion and creative opportunity.

With 12 participating brands, television and print media coverage, and a newly introduced professional development programme, the 2026 edition aims to connect the excitement of the runway with the people and creative industries that make fashion possible.
Twelve Brands Take the Runway on October 24
The opening day will place fashion at the centre of the programme, with collections presented by Conceição Leite, Micaela Oliveira, Escola Profissional do Ave, Lezon Atelier, Nortada, Relish, Gaudi, VDR, ORASCI, Original Ireland, Elsa Fairy and By Vel.
Throughout the day, models and production teams will prepare for the evening presentations through fittings, hair and makeup, rehearsals and content production, offering a behind-the-scenes look at the preparation required for a professional runway show. The fashion presentations will begin at 6:00 PM, bringing together Portuguese and international brands before an audience of industry guests, media representatives and invited personalities.
The event is expected to attract considerable media attention, with television coverage from Porto Canal and the attendance of celebrities and personalities familiar to audiences of SIC, TVI and AXN. Portuguese publications Nova Gente, VIP and TV 7 Dias are also expected to attend, providing additional exposure for participating designers and models.
For the brands presenting, the evening represents more than an opportunity to showcase their collections. It offers a platform to connect with new audiences, industry professionals and media outlets, extending the visibility of their work beyond the runway.

A Second Day Dedicated to the Future of Fashion
For the first time, The House of Fashion will continue into October 25 with The House of Fashion Open Day, a new initiative focused on photography, education, networking and professional development.
Designed for aspiring and established models, photographers and emerging creatives, the programme will include professional photoshoots, advanced runway coaching, commercial and catalogue posing, social media content creation, self-makeup and preparation for professional productions.
Photography will play a particularly important role, allowing participants to develop their portfolios and gain practical experience in front of the camera. The day will also provide opportunities to connect directly with brands, photographers and fashion professionals, encouraging collaborations and new career opportunities.
By introducing this second day, IMC Models Agency is extending the event’s purpose beyond presenting fashion collections, creating an environment where emerging talent can develop the skills and relationships needed to progress within the industry.

Fashion’s Growing Impact in Portugal
The House of Fashion has also established a connection with the local community through the institutional support of the Municipality of Santo Tirso. Vice-President Nuno Linhares and Councillor Dr Vera Araújo have supported the project’s development, recognising its contribution to regional visibility, tourism and economic activity.
A previous edition attracted more than 1,000 attendees to Santo Tirso, bringing visitors, models, designers and industry professionals to the region while generating demand for accommodation, restaurants and local services.

The 2026 event continues to build on that foundation, supported by professional and institutional partners including ACP — Associação dos Cabeleireiros de Portugal, IEFP — Instituto do Emprego e Formação Profissional, and Zélia Teixeira Perucas.
With Paris Runway Official powering the event and IMC Models Agency overseeing its production, The House of Fashion is bringing together two important sides of the industry: the visibility of a runway presentation and the professional development that takes place behind it.
As the event prepares for its October return, its expanded programme reflects a broader vision for fashion in Portugal, one that recognises the designers presenting their collections as well as the models, photographers, stylists and creative professionals building their careers.

On October 24, the collections take centre stage. On October 25, the focus turns to the talent shaping fashion’s future.
