Innovation has always been at the heart of PARAISO Miami Swim Week, but this year the organization took a significant step toward shaping the future of the industry with the debut of RISE, a dedicated platform designed to spotlight emerging swimwear and resortwear brands on a global stage.
Held from May 28 through May 30 during the 22nd edition of PARAISO Miami Swim Week, RISE introduced a fresh and immersive runway concept that challenged traditional fashion presentation formats while creating meaningful opportunities for the next generation of designers.
Presented in partnership with the Kimpton Surfcomber Hotel, one of Miami Beach’s most iconic Art Deco destinations, the three-day experience transformed the oceanfront property into an interactive fashion environment where creativity, hospitality, and culture intersected.
A New Vision for Emerging Fashion Talent
As the global swimwear market continues to evolve, emerging designers often face significant challenges gaining visibility alongside established labels. RISE was created specifically to bridge that gap.
The concept provided designers with far more than a traditional runway show. It offered an immersive ecosystem where brands could engage directly with buyers, media, influencers, industry professionals, and consumers in a highly experiential setting.
Guests arriving at the Surfcomber were welcomed by curated cabana activations featuring participating brands, beauty experiences, and interactive lifestyle showcases. The environment encouraged discovery, allowing attendees to engage with designers and products before and after each runway presentation.
At the center of the venue stood one of the event’s most memorable visual elements, a custom-built runway designed to appear suspended above the hotel’s historic pool. As models walked across the platform, the reflection of lights and water created the illusion of walking across the surface itself, producing one of the most visually striking presentations of Miami Swim Week.
As day turned to night, live DJs, tropical breezes, and the energy of South Beach transformed the experience into a celebration of fashion, culture, and entertainment.

Official makeup sponsor Ere Perez Natural Beauty brought its clean beauty philosophy directly to attendees through onsite activations while providing runway-ready looks for models throughout the event.
Hair sponsor MONCHO MORENO led styling efforts across the showcases, helping translate each designer’s creative vision into cohesive runway presentations.

Founded on the belief that fashion should empower women through life’s most memorable moments, 12th Tribe has evolved from a vintage resale business into a globally recognized lifestyle brand. The collection focused on versatile looks designed for travel, celebrations, festivals, and everyday confidence.
AJA Swim
California-based AJA Swim delivered luxury swim and resortwear rooted in modern femininity and elevated craftsmanship. Founders Rachel and Gabriel Guerrero showcased sculptural silhouettes, premium fabrics, and Mediterranean-inspired design details that blended sophistication with confidence.
Atelier Palacios
The French swimwear label turned heads with its innovative tanning technology, allowing sunlight to pass through fabric for a more even tan. Bold colors and body-positive silhouettes reflected the brand’s playful yet highly functional approach to swimwear.
