Held October 28 at Black Tap’s private lounge inside The Kixby Hotel, the OREO THINS After Dark Party transformed the intimate Midtown Manhattan setting into a dessert-inspired social experience, blending celebrity appearances, creative cocktails, and the restaurant’s signature over-the-top treats.

Bravo Stars Bring Reality TV Glamour to Manhattan

Among the evening’s notable guests were familiar faces from Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Rhode Island (RHORI), including Ashley Iaconetti, also known to audiences through Bachelor Nation, and Jo-Ellen Tiberi, who attended alongside her husband, Gary Tiberi.

Fellow RHORI personality Rosie Woods DiMare helped set the mood with a special guest DJ appearance alongside her husband, Rich DiMare, bringing an additional layer of entertainment to the celebration.

The guest list extended well beyond Rhode Island’s reality television circle. Evan Real, Danny Murphy, Summer House personalities Stephen McGee and Jason Cameron, The Bell Twins, and Ani Bollock were among the notable attendees, joining an energetic mix of influencers, food enthusiasts, and entertainment industry insiders.

Black Tap owner Christopher Barish and hospitality entrepreneur Richie Romero were also in attendance, welcoming guests into a setting that reflected the restaurant’s playful approach to dining and nightlife.

Espresso Creme Meets Black Tap’s Signature Indulgence

While the celebrity appearances attracted attention, the evening’s true centerpiece was the new OREO THINS Espresso Creme flavor.

Known for its elaborate milkshakes, towering desserts, and inventive approach to American comfort food, Black Tap embraced the collaboration with a menu of custom creations inspired by the limited-edition cookie.

Guests sampled specially crafted Black Tap shakes and CrazySundaes, while an OREO THINS Espresso Creme Cookie Cart offered another way to experience the flavor. An espresso martini mocktail station brought a coffeehouse-inspired touch to the festivities, complemented by a dedicated OREO THINS dessert bar and an assortment of Black Tap’s signature appetizer bites.

The result was a celebration designed around more than simply introducing a new cookie. Each station offered guests an opportunity to experience the flavor through a different interpretation, turning a familiar snack into the centerpiece of an immersive nightlife event.

When Food, Entertainment, and Pop Culture Collide

Celebrity-driven brand experiences have become an increasingly visible part of New York’s social calendar, particularly when they bring together recognizable personalities, unexpected collaborations, and environments designed for sharing.

The OREO THINS After Dark Party reflected that intersection.

Rather than relying on a traditional product launch, the collaboration leaned into Black Tap’s established identity as a destination for visually striking desserts and lively social experiences.

The private lounge at The Kixby Hotel provided an intimate backdrop where guests could mingle, enjoy music, and explore the limited-edition creations throughout the evening.

For OREO THINS, the event introduced its Espresso Creme flavor within a nightlife setting that naturally complemented the product’s coffee-inspired profile. For Black Tap, it offered another opportunity to reinterpret its signature desserts through a recognizable consumer brand.

A Limited-Time Treat for New Yorkers

The celebration may have been an invitation-only affair, but New Yorkers will have an opportunity to sample one of its featured creations.

The OREO THINS Espresso Creme Limited Edition Classic Shake will be available at Black Tap’s Midtown flagship location for a limited time, while supplies of the cookies last.

With its combination of Bravo personalities, inventive desserts, and Manhattan nightlife, the OREO THINS After Dark Party offered a playful reminder that some of New York’s most memorable social gatherings happen when food and entertainment share the spotlight.

And in this case, the evening came with an extra shot of espresso-inspired indulgence.
