Kim Kardashian Stuns in 250 Carats of Diamonds on the Balenciaga Runway at Paris Fashion Week

Kim Kardashian Walks the Runway at Balenciaga’s Fall 2025 Couture Show

On July 9, Kim Kardashian made a dramatic return to the runway during Balenciaga’s Fall 2025 Couture show in Paris. This marked the final show under creative director Demna Gvasalia, who is stepping away from the fashion house.

Kardashian, 44, wore a fitted ivory midi dress with delicate lace trim. Draped over her shoulders was a white fur coat that added to the look’s vintage elegance. Her side-parted bob haircut framed her face and added a subtle touch of glamour.

A Sparkling Tribute to Elizabeth Taylor

Her outfit didn’t just turn heads because of its silhouette. It paid homage to Elizabeth Taylor’s iconic look from the 1958 film Cat on a Hot Tin Roof.

The standout piece? A pair of diamond earrings once worn by Taylor herself. Known as the Mike Todd Diamond Pendant Earrings, they were acquired at auction by celebrity jeweler Lorraine Schwartz.

Kardashian completed the look with two Lorraine Schwartz necklaces. Together, the jewelry totaled around 250 carats of diamonds.

Couture Jewelry That Lit Up the Runway

Kardashian was not the only one shining. The rest of the models in the show wore custom pieces designed by Lorraine Schwartz.

Across the runway, more than 1,000 carats of precious stones were featured. These included white diamonds, Colombian emeralds, padparadscha sapphires, pink diamonds, and vibrant canary yellow diamonds.

Turning Heads in Paris Before the Show

Prior to the runway appearance, Kardashian was spotted arriving in Paris wearing a hot pink halter-neck dress. The dress featured a cutout at the torso, a plunging neckline, and a thigh-high slit. She paired it with neon pink panta-boots for a bold monochrome look.

On Instagram Stories, she posted a photo of the outfit with the caption, “Balenci Barbie 4Lyfe.”

Celebrities in the Front Row

Kardashian wasn’t just surrounded by diamonds. She was also surrounded by familiar faces.

At the show, she reunited with Lauren Sánchez Bezos and Katy Perry. Sánchez wore a sleek black jacket with oversized black sunglasses. Perry went with a black minidress, clear glasses, and matching heels.

Also in attendance were Nicole Kidman and Cardi B, adding even more star power to the front row.

A History with Balenciaga’s Runway

This wasn’t Kardashian’s first time walking for Balenciaga. She made her runway debut for the brand in 2022 during its 51st Couture Collection.

Back then, she wore a black gown with built-in gloves and bleach blonde hair. She walked alongside other celebrities like Nicole Kidman, Dua Lipa, Bella Hadid, Naomi Campbell, and Christine Quinn.

After the show, Kardashian called the experience “a dream come true” on her Instagram Stories.

A Look That Blended Past and Present

With a nod to Elizabeth Taylor and the weight of 250 carats of diamonds, Kardashian’s appearance was both nostalgic and modern.

Her walk in Balenciaga’s final show under Demna was more than just a fashion moment. It was a celebration of legacy, glamour, and star power—something Kim Kardashian continues to embody.
