A Landmark Moment at Surrogate’s Court
On Saturday, September 13, 2025, Stacey Bendet unveiled the Spring 2026 Collection for Alice + Olivia at New York’s historic Surrogate’s Court. The venue, with its marble interiors and storied past, was reimagined as a stage honoring the American Woman. Over 45 looks came down the runway, each showcasing Bendet’s balance of whimsical femininity and modern sophistication.
The show opened with a striking statement: a model embodying Lady Liberty, elevated above the entryway in a cascading white floral gown that flowed down the marble steps and across the plaza. The image set the tone for an evening that blurred the line between fashion show and performance art.
The Guest List
The audience reflected the cultural power of Alice + Olivia, with celebrities, influencers, and fashion insiders in attendance. Notable guests included Ashlee Simpson, Sarah Pidgeon, Brooks Nader, Nicky Hilton, Ava Dash, Liz Gillies, Julia Butters, Sofia Bryant, Renée Elise Goldsberry, Emira D’Spain, and Tina Craig. With Casamigos cocktails in hand and a live DJ set by Blu DeTiger fueling the energy, the mood was bold, vibrant, and celebratory.
Partners and Backstage Team
The behind-the-scenes polish came courtesy of an impressive lineup of partners: Ardell, Amika, Bio Ionic, Hollywood Fashion Secrets, Lip Lab, Salon Perfect, Upneeq®, YesYou, and The Kacey Welch Method. Each brand contributed to the glamour and seamless execution that defines an Alice + Olivia production.
A Brand Built on Playful Sophistication
Since launching in 2002, alice + olivia has grown from Stacey Bendet’s mission to design the perfect pair of pants into a global lifestyle brand worn by Meghan Markle, Michelle Obama, Beyoncé, Gwyneth Paltrow, Gigi Hadid, and Jessica Alba. Known for bold prints, whimsical details, and feminine tailoring, the label has become synonymous with contemporary American style.
The Spring 2026 presentation reinforced Bendet’s position as a creative force at the heart of New York Fashion Week. More than just a runway show, the evening served as a celebration of identity, artistry, and the enduring spirit of the American woman.
