Post Malone Brings Western Cool to Paris With Austin Post

Paris is getting a head start on fashion season. While Paris Fashion Week officially begins at the end of September, Post Malone has decided not to wait. On Monday, the chart-topping musician will introduce his debut fashion brand, Austin Post, with a runway show in Paris.

The label is described as “a new creative expression and soulful extension” of Malone’s identity. It is an ambitious pivot for the Texas-born artist, who is as recognizable for his tattoos and cowboy-inspired style as he is for hits like “Circles” and “Rockstar.” The debut collection, titled At First Light, blends Dallas western and Southwest ranch influences.

A first campaign image captures Malone in full Americana mode: a chambray cattleman’s shirt, blue jeans fastened with a silver belt buckle, and a beige cowboy hat. Draped over his shoulder is a shearling-lined denim jacket stitched with the Austin Post label. Even the show’s invitation nods to Malone’s roots, designed with a red paisley bandana motif.

Though this marks his first time building his own line, Malone has been no stranger to fashion partnerships. His collaborations range from Bud Light and Crocs to Skims, Ugg, Moose Knuckles, Doritos, and Postmates. By launching Austin Post, he follows a growing line of musicians stepping into design, joining names like A$AP Rocky with AWGE and Justin Bieber with Skylrk.

These moves echo the path set by icons such as Pharrell, whose Billionaire Boys Club became a stepping stone to Louis Vuitton, and Kanye West, who reshaped streetwear with Yeezy. Malone’s choice to frame his debut as “Season One” borrows directly from that lineage.

The artist was already developing the brand earlier this year during a visit to Paris, and now the project is ready for its unveiling. His runway show lands just two days before he and tourmate Jelly Roll perform at La Défense Arena on September 3. The timing feels deliberate: fashion spectacle followed by music spectacle, each feeding the other.

With Austin Post, Malone is not simply lending his name to another capsule collaboration. He is planting a flag in a space where identity and artistry meet. Whether the line proves to be a long-term force or a cultural moment, it signals a bold new chapter in his creative journey.
