New York Swim Week 2025 returned for its fifth edition with a rooftop celebration that was equal parts fashion, culture, and unforgettable energy. Held at Life Time Sky in Hell’s Kitchen, the show offered a sweeping cityscape view that served as the perfect backdrop for a full day of runway presentations and high-profile brand collaborations.
At the center of it all was Evita Scoccia, the creative force behind New York Swim Week and the designer behind Evita Swim. She wore multiple hats throughout the event. From walking the runway herself to producing the entire show and showcasing her own collection in collaboration with Elizabeth Jewelry & Co., Evita proved she understands every layer of what it takes to put together a major fashion moment.
Hosting duties were handled with polish and personality by Andreia Gibau, former Miss New York USA. She commanded the stage throughout the day and evening, sharing the spotlight with entrepreneur Peter Gordon during the daytime portion and former soccer star Lachlan McLean for the evening. The chemistry between the hosts and the crowd was undeniable, and Andreia’s outfit change from day to night added an extra layer of glamour.
The daytime lineup was packed with talent. Designers from around the globe brought bold colors, fresh silhouettes, and forward-thinking swimwear to the runway. Featured brands included SHE Designs, Ella Marie Swim, Designs by Porshia, Cocora Shop, Bathhouse, PAM SWIM x Ellen Hunter, Muna Swim, Birds and B, Haus of Blvck, BySarasty, and SAINT LOU$I. Each brand brought something different, giving the audience an exciting and diverse range of styles to take in.
What made this year’s show stand out beyond the fashion was the level of sponsor integration and attention to guest experience. With Smart Water and Coca-Cola as hydration partners, guests stayed refreshed throughout the day. Doggy Paddle, a canned whiskey cocktail brand, quickly became a fan favorite at the bar, while DYE infused seltzers offered a lighter twist for guests enjoying the rooftop breeze.
The beauty game was also on point. Saltie Beauty, a leader in sustainable and renewable haircare, was seen everywhere, from backstage glam stations to gift bags. Their eco-conscious presence felt completely in sync with the tone of the event. @tanbysam, the official spray tan sponsor, helped models and hosts alike glow with flawless skin tones that stood out under the city sun and evening lights.
Behind the scenes, Dumbo Moving + Storage handled logistics as the official moving sponsor. From designer collections to production equipment, their team made sure everything arrived and left without a hitch. That kind of behind-the-scenes efficiency was part of what made the entire event feel polished and well-run.
Moxy Hotels also played an important role as the hotel partner, offering stylish accommodations to out-of-town designers, models, and press. With its chic atmosphere and prime location, Moxy provided a comfortable home base for many of the weekend’s VIPs.
As the sun began to set, the night show kept the momentum strong. Andreia returned to host alongside Lachlan McLean, shifting the mood toward a more elevated evening vibe. The second half of the event featured new collections from brands including Oceanus, Ivy Swimwear, Origin of Oceans, Mondello Swim x Meertens Luxury, yarnS, Heritage Swim, Wall Street Swim, Sulis Swimwear x GLGEMSS, Capristan, and LECCESE DESIGNS.
Closing out the show was the highly anticipated runway presentation from Evita Swim, paired with Elizabeth Jewelry & Co. The collection brought a luxurious and confident energy to the runway, and the applause from the crowd confirmed it was a fitting finale. Evita herself opening the walk with her butterfly look with two (2) models opening up a butterfly boxes letting live butterflies into the crowd to add a bit of theatrics.
One of the most interactive moments of the day came when the crowd was invited to walk the runway. Guests showed off their best outfits during a best dressed contest that added an unexpected and fun twist. It was a reminder that New York Swim Week is not just for the industry insiders, but for the community of creatives, supporters, and fashion fans who show up looking like stars themselves.
Perhaps the most impressive part of the day was the show’s schedule. Everything started on time and wrapped by 7:45 PM, leaving plenty of space for guests to network, grab content, and prepare for the afterparty. That level of planning is rare in fashion, and it added to the sense of professionalism that surrounded every detail of the event.
New York Swim Week 2025 was more than a runway show. It was a full cultural experience that celebrated creativity, collaboration, and the magic of a well-produced event in the heart of one of the world’s fashion capitals. With the skyline glowing behind the models and the energy high from start to finish, it felt like something more permanent had been established.
Evita Scoccia and her team have officially cemented NYSW as a must-attend on the fashion calendar. From the talent on the runway to the strength of the brand partnerships, this was a milestone moment for the event. If you weren’t there this year, you missed one of the most seamless and visually stunning shows in recent memory.
Be sure to mark your calendar. New York Swim Week is no longer emerging. It has arrived.
