New York Swim Week 2025: Celebrating Five Years of Swimwear Innovation in the Fashion Capital, NYC

This summer, New York Swim Week (NYSW) returns to Manhattan, the fashion capital of the world, to mark five years of redefining the swimwear narrative. Founded by Evita Scoccia in 2021, NYSW has evolved from an ambitious vision into a global platform that honors creativity, individuality, and inclusivity in the swimwear industry.

The 2025 edition which is entitled “Interbloom” takes place on Saturday, July 26, at Life Time Sky (605 W 42nd St, New York, NY) with two dynamic runway presentations:

  • Day Show: 2:00 PM (Hosted by @andreiagibau & @iampetergordon)
  • Evening Show: 5:00 PM (Hosted by @lachy_mclean)
  • Exclusive After Party: Virgin Hotel NYC

With its Interbloom theme, NYSW 2025 invites audiences into a space of evolution, transformation, and radiant self-expression, showcasing visionary designers from around the globe.

A Weeklong Celebration of Swimwear Culture

New York Swim Week 2025 is more than a runway. Over the last 5 years it has become a full-scale fashion ecosystem, anchored by satellite events that connect beauty, media, wellness, and retail. This year’s lineup includes:

A movement, Not Just a Moment

In 2024, NYSW became the first swimwear-focused platform to produce an international pre-show campaign in the Maldives uniting designers from Australia, London, Miami, and LA to create cinematic content that bridged runway and retail storytelling.

Founder Evita Scoccia, a former model, stylist, and Vogue intern, built NYSW from personal experience:

“I’ve walked the runways, packed the samples, and sat backstage dreaming of something more. NYSW is that ‘more’… not just for me, but for everyone who deserves a space to be seen.”

Why NYSW Matters

Swimwear has long been underrepresented in high fashion. New York Swim Week positions it center stage in a way that is artful, intentional, and worthy of the spotlight.

This platform isn’t just changing where swimwear lives… it’s changing who gets to wear it, create it, and lead it.
