For Spring/Summer 2027, Brunello Cucinelli makes the case that some of fashion’s most sophisticated ideas emerge when craftsmanship becomes almost invisible, woven naturally into clothing designed to be lived in.
Presented on September 23 at the Brunello Cucinelli showroom and atelier on Viale Montello in Milan, the new women’s collection is titled The Nature of Savoir-Faire. The name speaks directly to the philosophy behind the season, bringing together technical mastery, natural materials, contrasting influences and an unmistakable sense of ease.
Rather than treating craftsmanship as something precious that needs to be protected, the collection places it directly into everyday life.
Where Craft Meets Ease
There is a tension running throughout the collection, but it is an intentional one.
Control meets freedom. Utility meets delicacy. Familiar wardrobe staples encounter techniques more commonly associated with couture.
That contrast gives the collection much of its character.
The house draws inspiration from seemingly distant worlds, including Nordic maritime references, the refinement of earlier eras and the practicality of contemporary metropolitan dressing.
Instead of separating those influences, Brunello Cucinelli allows them to collide.
Raffia appears alongside organza. Sailor stripes are interrupted by touches of gold. Workwear proportions encounter crochet. Denim, one of fashion’s most familiar materials, is elevated through new construction and finishing techniques.
The result feels less like a collection built around one rigid theme and more like a wardrobe shaped by curiosity.
Familiar Pieces, Reconsidered

Primary red brings a sudden jolt of energy, while luminous blues introduce a cooler contrast. Nude, pale skin and peony tones create softer transitions, while cream, wheat and sunflower recall the warmth of summer light.
Gold appears selectively against Panama, black and leather, adding enough polish to move certain looks naturally from daytime into evening.
Rather than allowing any single shade to dominate, the palette works through relationships between colors, much like the collection itself works through relationships between seemingly opposing ideas.
