In a finale dripping with opulence, Oceanus brought down the house at Miami Swim Week 2025 with a maximalist celebration of couture swimwear, tropic-laced sensuality, and bold, unapologetic self-expression. Partnering with SOJOS, the runway marked the striking debut of Sol del Trópico, an inspired luxury collection that celebrated tropical elegance, sun-kissed opulence, and marine artistry.

The Closing Scene: 80s Glam Meets Tropical Heat
Closing night at the PARAISO Fashion Tent was anything but understated. Oceanus transformed the runway into an opulent escape, where glimmering beads caught the light like surf on sunlit shores. The crowd—a buzzing mix of editors, stylists, influencers, and swimwear aficionados—knew they were witnessing a moment.
With dozens of standout looks and a range of exclusive capsule pieces, the collection was an ode to theatrical elegance. Oceanus leaned into its signature aesthetic: maximalist swimwear, fierce femininity, and sustainability that doesn’t whisper—it commands.

Statement Looks and Sustainable Power
Each piece was a study in contrast: ornate yet wearable, glam yet grounded. Think: hand-embroidered shells, recycled textiles, and high-gloss finishes that called back to 80s evening wear. Founder and creative director Hannah Attalah delivered silhouettes that merged runway fantasy with body-loving practicality—a design philosophy that has fueled Oceanus’ rapid global rise.
“We created Oceanus to fill a gap in the market—fashion-led swimwear that makes women feel powerful,” said Attalah. “This show was a celebration of that vision.”

SOJOS Shines in Debut Capsule
Partnering with Oceanus for their first-ever runway collaboration, SOJOS debuted its Palm Reverie eyewear capsule. The collection featured coordinated colorways, marine-inspired motifs, and sustainably crafted frames—made from recycled ocean plastic and materials.
“Our runway debut is more than just fashion; it’s about showing all the shades of who you are”
Justin Cao, SOJOS CEO

With each look, the eyewear became an exclamation point—a final layer of expression on a woman unafraid to take up space.
A Global Brand with Local Soul
From launching in Bali to opening a flagship store in London’s Carnaby district, Oceanus continues to evolve. Sol del Trópico marked not only the brand’s first official showing in Miami, but a homecoming of sorts.
“We’re incredibly honored to host our first runway show in Miami—a city that has inspired us deeply with its Art Deco charm and vibrant energy,” shared the Oceanus team. “Showcasing our work at PARAISO, one of the city’s most iconic events, is a meaningful moment.”
