As the 2026 Formula 1® season launches, Louis Vuitton unveils the second chapter of its Official Partnership with Formula 1, reinforcing a shared commitment to excellence, innovation, and legacy.
Under its iconic mantra, “Victory Travels in Louis Vuitton,” the House once again aligns craftsmanship with the pinnacle of global sport, ensuring that every championship moment is carried in tradition and design precision.
A Global Season Begins in Melbourne
The collaboration was marked by the sport’s traditional pre-season launch image, featuring all 22 drivers across 11 teams. Captured in Bahrain during testing sessions, the image precedes the season opener at the FORMULA 1 QATAR AIRWAYS AUSTRALIAN GRAND PRIX 2026 in Melbourne on March 6.
At the heart of every race weekend lies the ultimate goal, becoming a Formula 1® World Champion. The championship trophy, presented in its bespoke Louis Vuitton Trophy Trunk, symbolizes the culmination of lifelong ambition, discipline, and performance at the highest level of motorsport.
Throughout the 2026 calendar, Louis Vuitton will accompany the Championship across all 24 Grand Prix weekends, unveiling 24 specially crafted Formula 1® Trophy Trunks for podium ceremonies worldwide.
In a defining expansion of the partnership, Louis Vuitton becomes Title Partner of the FORMULA 1 LOUIS VUITTON GRAND PRIX DE MONACO 2026. This milestone builds on the House’s longstanding ties with the Principality through its collaboration with the Automobile Club de Monaco, which saw the creation and presentation of the Formula 1 Grand Prix de Monaco™ Trophy Trunk between 2021 and 2024.
Trackside visuals for the 2026 season will once again reflect the creative universe designed specifically for the partnership, inspired by the velocity, aerodynamics, and technical elegance of Formula 1 cars.
A Historic Sporting Legacy
The relationship between Louis Vuitton and elite sport stretches back decades. Since its first partnership with the America’s Cup in 1983, the Maison has crafted trophy trunks for some of the world’s most prestigious competitions.
These include:
- FIFA World Cup
- NBA Finals
- Roland Garros
- Rugby World Cup
- Ballon d’Or
- Olympic Games Paris 2024
- Australian Open
Each trophy trunk is handcrafted to protect and elevate its contents, transforming a championship object into a ceremonial artifact that blends sport with art and heritage.
The 2026 season introduces sweeping regulatory changes set to redefine the sport’s competitive landscape. The next generation of cars will be smaller and lighter, powered by advanced hybrid engines running on sustainable fuels. The shift aims to prioritize efficiency, environmental responsibility, and driver-centered racing.
Two new teams join the grid:
- Cadillac Formula 1 Team
- Audi Revolut F1 Team
Meanwhile, key manufacturer developments include Honda partnering with Aston Martin for power units and Ford collaborating with Red Bull. The 2026 calendar will also welcome Madrid for its inaugural Grand Prix from September 11 to 13, further expanding the Championship’s global footprint.
With hundreds of millions of viewers worldwide, Formula 1® remains one of the most influential sporting platforms on the planet. Louis Vuitton’s continued presence ensures that its legacy craftsmanship remains intertwined with the Championship’s most defining celebrations.
Victory Travels in Louis Vuitton
For more than a century, Louis Vuitton has safeguarded the prized possessions of explorers, innovators, and champions. In the modern sporting arena, that tradition finds its ultimate expression on the Formula 1 podium.
“Victory Travels in Louis Vuitton” is more than a slogan. It is a reflection of shared values, precision, resilience, ambition, and the relentless pursuit of excellence. As Formula 1 enters a bold new era in 2026, Louis Vuitton positions itself not merely as a partner, but as a guardian of victory itself.
