Coco Jones Claims the Crown as 2025’s Breakout R&B Star with Why Not More?

Cementing herself as a force in R&B, GRAMMY-Award Winning powerhouse singer/songwriter and actress Coco Jones has earned the “#1 New R&B Artist Debut of 2025” with her acclaimed album, Why Not More?, out now via High Standardz/Def Jam Recordings – listen HERE. Upon arrival, it made a major impact on the culture and scored #1 for Current R&B Album Sales and Top 3 among Current R&B Albums. Plus, it catapulted into the Top 10 of the Billboard 200 and the Top 15 of the Top Album Sales Chart.

Celebrating this success in style, Coco turned heads at the Met Gala in a bedazzled costume couture piece by Indian designer Manish Malhotra. She made an unforgettable first impression at the event marking her arrival as a bold new force in fashion. Included on many of the Best Dressed lists, Glamour raved, “Walking the Met Gala 2025 red carpet, Jones made an iconic and absolutely fierce entrance in a low-cut cream-colored suit jacket, complete with lace embroidery and pearls all over.”

Since then, she’s showcased her formidable acting skills playing Hilary Banks in Peacock’s Fresh Prince reboot, Bel-Air, which has recently been renewed for a fourth season and Netflix’s Vampires vs. the Bronx.
