At the helm is designer Erik Leutar, a visionary blending sustainability, sensuality, and sea-born storytelling in a way that demands attention.

“This is more than just a collection,” Erik shares. “It’s our Signature Collection — a declaration of who we are and what we stand for: bold design, rich colors, ethical craftsmanship, and deep reverence for the ocean.” Aventura Swimwear plans to present its ‘Signature Collection’ on June 1st at 6pm to offer its audience the first look at Aventura Swimwear on the Runway.
A Story That Begins with the Sea
Growing up along the Croatian coast, Erik’s life has always been tethered to the water. From windsurfing and lifeguarding to earning a master’s in marine science and sailing the world as a marine officer, the ocean isn’t just an influence — it’s home.
“I’ve seen firsthand the damage caused by plastic pollution. Creating Aventura Swimwear was about channeling all of that — my past, my values, my love for the ocean — into something beautiful and impactful.”
And impactful it is. The debut collection features high-quality Italian Lycra made with Econyl®; a regenerated nylon sourced from discarded ocean waste. Each piece is handcrafted in a women-powered atelier on Italy’s Amalfi Coast, produced in small batches to ensure exclusivity and excellence.

Aventura Swimwear is currently available exclusively through their website. “We want to build an intentional connection with our customers — everything from product to packaging tells our story,” Erik explains. But as the brand grows, they’re open to retail partnerships that align with their ethos.
The future is clear: Aventura is here to stay. “This debut is only the beginning. We’re not here to follow trends — we’re here to help shape what’s next in conscious fashion.”
